Tracy Lockwood Beckerman
Tracy - Registered Dietitian
Tracy - Nutrition Expert

I've always had a passion for nutrition because food brings me happiness...and you can clearly tell from the photos above!

Growing up, I would spend hours in the grocery store inspecting fresh produce, and learning about new products. Little did I know that I would bring this fervent curiosity towards becoming a registered dietitian when I got older.

After I received my Bachelor's Degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!), I completed my dietetic internship and received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University.  At my private practice in midtown Manhattan, I specialize in women’s health, from everything to eating to support a healthier period, to optimizing fertility and what to eat during + after pregnancy. I am also a certified lactation counselor.

I am the in-house registered dietitian and nutrition expert for Betches Media. I've been featured on their hit health and wellness podcast, "Diet Starts Tomorrow." I’m the host of the educational (and hilarious) episodes of Well+Good’s YouTube Series, “You Versus Food,” helping you learn more about real food! I am the nutrition advisor to Robyn, an integrative maternal wellness community. I am also an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Women’s Health Dietetics Practice Group.

I have been known to be my client's personal cheerleader as I counsel and educate them and give them the tools to develop a positive relationship with food. My effervescent personality and sense of humor puts my clients at ease, which allows me to develop a special relationship with each and every one of them. I believe in moderation, not deprivation!

I have had the privilege to sit on expert panels, give lectures to parents and expecting parents, children, schools and large corporations in New York City. I have been published in the New York Times and have been quoted in hundreds of publications, including Well+Good, InStyle and the Huffington Post.
